Produce Boxes Every Saturday
Boxes are priced at $20 for pickup and $25 for delivery and ordering is available until midnight on Wednesdays.
You can order boxes for Pickup or Delivery on Saturday, and you can also choose to set up an Auto-Renew subscription for Pickup (weekly or bi-weekly) and Delivery (weekly or bi-weekly).
And be sure to check out each week’s special add-on product. Previous add-ons have included Mama’s Everything simmer sauce, Patty Pan tortillas, chanterelle mushrooms, Pangea Curtido sauerkraut, and all-purpose flour from Fairhaven Mill.

What’s in the Box?
Each week’s contents are a bit of a surprise, but boxes mix “Essentials” like apples, carrots, bananas, and potatoes with surprises like fennel, leeks, pluots, and Romano beans.
We focus on organic produce from area produce distributors, and we’ve been sourcing more and more items from local area farms like Wright Brothers and Pink Moon farms.
You can expect a selection of 9 vegetables and fruit (for about 9–11 pounds of produce). Here’s what regular customer and longtime DGC member-owner Elizabeth Heath says about her experience:
Each Saturday I eagerly await the delivery of my Essentials box from the Delridge Grocery. Why? Because the produce is fresh, locally-sourced, and includes items new to me that send me scurrying for ways to prepare them.
We update our What’s in the Box page on Friday with contents and recipe ideas (and you can check on previous box contents and recipes, too).
Donations
Our DGC Essentials Box donations program has identified several families and households in partnership with Delridge Neighborhoods Development Association (DNDA) and other community resources who need a little help during these trying times.
A big thank you to everyone who has provided donations. The families and households who have received the boxes have been delighted to receive a full DGC Essentials Box.
Please consider making a donation of a whole box ($20) or half box ($10) this week to help keep this program going.

Fresh Bucks
The DGC is partnering with the Seattle Fresh Bucks program to provide DGC Essentials produce boxes to our neighbors who are on a tight budget.
If you are an eligible Seattle resident enrolled in the program, click the Fresh Bucks box and fill out your contact info.
You won’t be charged for the online order, but a Fresh Bucks order requires $20 from your Fresh Bucks card for each ordered box. Card must be presented at pickup.
Pick Up Your Box
In order to maintain safe distancing, we have four 30-minute pickup time slots from 10:30am to 12:30pm (Auto-Renew subscriptions are not assigned time slots and can pick up any time). Please arrive on time at the Delridge Grocery Co-op retail space (5444 Delridge Way SW).
Get Your Box Delivered
We are offering a limited number of delivery orders for $25. Deliveries will be made between 10:30am and 2:30pm on Saturdays.
Our deliveries are limited to West Seattle as far south as Roxbury (see map), serving addresses in the following zip codes: 98106, 98116, 98126, and 98136. We cannot accommodate deliveries outside this area at this time.
Order Confirmation
After ordering, you will receive the following email:
- PayPal/Square receipt shortly after you complete your payment submission (Auto-Renew subscription get this receipt on Thursdays)
- Automated confirmation email from DGC
- DGC confirmation/reminder email on Friday with a sneak peek of what’s in the box
