Celebrate the Holidays with Local Delights
Bring home the flavors of Washington state this holiday season with our second annual holiday collection of sweet and savory treats. Great for treating yourself or sharing with friends, neighbors, work colleagues, and loved ones, the DGC 2021 Holiday Gift Basket features a specially curated selection of delightful foods from producers around the Pacific Northwest.
Last year’s Holiday Basket sold out and we’re hoping to sell 120 baskets again this year — using the proceeds to purchase an additional refrigeration unit for the store. This will enable our lil’ neighborhood Co-op to offer more perishable items, from milk and cheeses to fresh meats and seafood.
Order the DGC 2021 Holiday Gift Basket for pickup or delivery (to your home or to another address) through December 15.
Baskets will be available for pickup Friday, December 17 at the Delridge Grocery Co-op retail store when we’ll be open from 3–7. Pickups can also be made on Saturday, December 18 (9:30–1:30) and Sunday, December 19 (11–3). Deliveries will be made on that Friday and Saturday.
Deliveries are limited to the West Seattle peninsula (as far south as Roxbury), serving addresses in the following zip codes: 98106, 98116, 98126, and 98136. When ordering a delivery basket, you can specify a second address for gifting to someone else.

Joe Salted Caramel Espresso Bark
Handmade in Pike Place Market, this naturally caffeinated dark chocolate combines small-batch roasted espresso with crunchy salted caramel pieces and a dash of sea salt. A trail snack for any trek (or an afternoon pick-me-up at your desk), this 2.5-ounce bag of salted caramel chocolate is equal to two strong cups of coffee.
San Juan Island Madrona Smoked Salt
Born out of the unique San Juan Island ecosystem, San Juan Island Sea Salt collects fallen branches of Pacific Madrona (Arbutus menziesii) and uses them to cold smoke this sea salt. This light-medium smoked salt has a hearty, smoked salmon-like aroma, with a soft brown caramel color. A few great ways to use this salt are on a slice of a fresh garden tomato, on roasted root vegetables, or as a seasoning on chicken or steak. Each DGC 2021 Holiday Basket includes one 1-ounce jar of salt.
San Juan Island Sea Salt is a family farm located 3 miles outside Friday Harbor WA, in the windy and beautiful San Juan Valley. During the warm summer months, they solar evaporate salt in unheated hoophouses adapted from vegetable production, producing around 5,000 pounds of salt a year.
Beach House Loose Leaf Tea + Infuser
Beach House Teas is a small family business filled with a love of the bounties the Pacific Northwest has to offer with a mixture of creativity and family traditions. We’ve got two artisan loose-leaf herbal teas blended with a kiss of ocean air from Beach House Teas in Long Beach, WA — Northwest Wild and Pacific Blue — complete with a metal heart-shaped tea infuser.
- Northwest Wild blend is 100% organic herbal tea blended with hibiscus, lemongrass, Long Beach Washington Peninsula Cranberries, Hawthorn Berries, Linden Flower & Leaf, and Cinnamon Chips.
- Pacific Blue tea blend is like a mood ring in a cup. The beautiful Butterly Pea Flower gives this tea an ocean blue hue while mint and lemongrass sneak in some greens. Add a squeeze of lemon juice to the finished tea and it just might turn purple on you.
They’re carefully crafted in small batches and immediately sealed in a resealable natural 2-ounce stand-up pouch. Each DGC 2021 Holiday Basket will receive one pouch of either of these blends.
Mustard & Co. Honey Thyme Mustard
Made weekly in small batches at Mustard and Co.’s very own shop in Ballard, this Honey & Thyme Mustard combo started as a delicious vinaigrette. But Mustard and Co. decided it couldn’t limit the deliciousness to salads, so now you have it to spread on sandwiches, cheese plates, chicken dishes, roasted veggies, and more. Each DGC 2021 Holiday Basket includes one 7-ounce jar of mustard.
Launched in 2013 on the basis that good food should be enjoyed in the company of bold condiments, Mustard and Co. emphasizes quality local ingredients, and traditional techniques that preserve the mustard seed’s inherent, horseradish-like spiciness.
Seattle Pickle Spicy Green Beans
Hand-packed straight from farms in the Yakima Valley, this 12-ounce jar of artisan pickled green beans takes Seattle Pickle Company’s green bean recipe and spices it up with fresh habanero. They’re a perfect accompaniment to sharing with friends over cocktails or adding extra spice chopped up in tuna salad.

Apple State Apple Cider Vinegar

Georgetown Pantry Supply Raw Honeycomb
This raw wildflower honeycomb comes from a honey farm near Tacoma, where the couple running the farm have been beekeeping for 40+ years. Beautiful to look at and delicious to eat, each package is perfect for one cheese plate or a bit of dessert. Pop the top on this 2.5-ounce jar of pure, unfiltered, honeycomb, slap it onto the cheese board, and dig in!
