Cobb’s Gourmet Popcorn, Vanilla Salted Caramel

Combining vanilla beans from Madagascar with a beautiful finishing salt that mixes with buttery caramel, Cobb’s Vanilla Salted Caramel popcorn is the perfect combo of sweet and savory.

Proudly popped in the Pike Place Market, Cobb’s selects the best corn kernels and oil-pops them to a flawless golden hue, then coats each kernel using their giant hand-stirred carmelizer. The popcorn is then cooled with a unique process to ensure a crisp finish.

Preserved Lemons (Villa Jerada)

An essential Moroccan culinary tradition, Seattle-based Villa Jarada uses small Beldi lemons, salt, and time to give a bright citrus, complex umami flavor to a variety of dishes. Thinly slice the whole lemon (including outer skin) for sautés, braises, and Moroccan tagines, or just smash the inner flesh into dressings, vinaigrette, and marinades.

Started by Mehdi Boujrada, Villa Jerada’s spreads, oils, spice mixes, and pantry items are used by local restaurants and sold in gourmet food shops throughout Seattle.

Black Truffle Mustard (Mustard and Co.)

Mustard and Co.One of Oprah’s Favorite Things for 2019, Mustard and Co. searched far and wide for the best truffle-infused olive oil they could find, mixed it in with its core set of ingredients… and magic ensued. The flavor of truffle up front with the kick of the mustard seed on the tail end is a perfect combination when used in deviled eggs topped with pickled mushrooms.

Launched in 2013 on the basis that good food should be enjoyed in the company of bold condiments, Mustard and Co. emphasizes quality local ingredients, and traditional techniques that preserve the mustard seed’s inherent, horseradish-like spiciness.

Pickled Green Beans. (Seattle Pickle Co.)

Hand-packed straight from farms in the Yakima Valley, this 12-ounce jar of artisan pickled green beans from Seattle Pickle Company are best when fresh, crunchy, and briny.

From the sweet briny-saltiness of the Pacific Ocean in the Puget Sound, to the fertile land that supports the many farms in the surrounding region, Seattle Pickle Company combines and brines the freshest ingredients to create that unique taste you can only find in the Pacific Northwest.

Haxan Hot Sauce, Various Flavors (Haxan Ferments)

Haxan Hot SauceFiercely fermented and brewed in the heart of Seattle, Haxan Ferments crafts its small-batch hot sauces by hand using the finest ingredients the Pacific Northwest has to offer. They work closely with Washington farms and producers to create amazing condiments that punch up and brighten your everyday.

The DGC Gift Basket will come with one 4-ounce jar from Haxan’s variety of hot sauces, including Cherry Bomb (aka, SEA-racha). The combo of cherry bomb and Fresno peppers blended with white vinegar creates a warming but not overly spicy complement to your favorite dishes.

Blueberry Jam (Sidhu Farms)

Sidhu Farms Blueberry JamGrown and hand-picked from its bounty of blueberries, Sidhu Farms blueberry jam is the perfect accompaniment to your morning toast.

Situated in the heart of the Puyallup Valley, Sidhu Farms mainly grows blueberries, but also grows strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, marion, and boysenberries. After coming to America in the early 1980s from Punjab, India, Chet Sidhu started farming in the Orting and Puyallup Valleys in 1998. Today, Sidhu Farms consists about 90 acres of plots throughout the valleys, growing a wide assortment of vegetables in addition to their berries.

San Juan Sea Salt Chocolate Bar (Patty Pan Cooperative)

Patty Pan ChocolateSweet and salty, this artisan chocolate bar combines 70% dark chocolate with flaky sea salt sourced from San Juan Island. Made with organic fair-trade cacao and organic sugar. Dairy free, gluten free, vegan.

Patty Pan Cooperative is a thoughtful, progressive food provider specializing in hand-made foods including fresh flour tortillas; frozen tamales, burritos, and seasonal specials; and bean-to-bar chocolate. Starting out by serving tamales at Seattle-area farmers’ markets back in 1997, Patty Pan became a worker-owned cooperative in 2013.

Everything on Everything, Classic Blend (Stocked)

Everything on EverythingEverything On Everything spice mixture from Stocked owes its existence to the genius who invented the Everything Bagel. The Everything On Everything Classic Blend is exactly what you think: the classic blend that goes on an everything bagel, and it’s the perfect addition to hummus, roasted veggies, whitefish, your morning eggs, and much more.

Stocked is a community of small-business entrepreneurs that have come together to support each other, as well as inspire the use of craft goods every day. Our intention is to not only provide those that we have in our collection, but also share others that we discover in our day-to-day findings.

Shibori-dyed Hand Towel

DGC board member Kerri Cacciata has overseen the dying of soft cotton tea towels using the Japanese Shibori dying method, a manual dying technique that results in a unique pattern in an indigo hue on each towel.
